Lunardi said they would be in contention to be in the bubble conversation, mainly because going 10-8 in conference would get you in most years. They would be the mother of all RPI anomalies if they got in.

You act like they are in. How is a win at home against lowly Penn State going to move the needle enough? Most metrics show Iowa is a long long way off.
 
Serious question, what was the last power 5 conference to not recieve a single 4 seed or higher? The Big10 really seems to be trending that way.

Mid 70s RPI with PSU then who, maybe Illinois in the BTT? It's possible they run the table and still end up outside the RPI and Kenpom top 50. I wouldn't say an at large is impossible, but they would need to make the title game and have lots of other games go their way.

Maryland in last 2 months has beaten no one...Wisc has been just bad in last month and that game wow I think basketball was just set back 4 decades....but I give Iowa credit they are playing decent..and all this non sense of all the freshman whatever...nobody is a Frosh after playing 25 games..does anyone see bohannon improving his game that much? I see him exactly same next year but with no Jok will get better defender on him...Pemsl and Cook should get better a little bit Cook needs to be more than a dunker..everyone else on Iowa team...meh.

If Iowa is the 7 then they will play the winner of Sunday's game between Indiana and OSU who would be locked in as the 10. If Iowa wins that game they would play either Wisky or Minnesota. They play this weekend and the winner of that game gets the 2 seed in DC.
