Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

They got hosed big time, nevermind the ref ran straight around the Goofer player out of bounds or the fact you can hear people yelling timeout, that was the quickest tie-up I've seen in recent memory.

Didn't cost them the game at all. Take off your black and gold glasses Jeremy

Definetely didn't cost Iowa the game. I'm talking about a situation like the KU game in 2013 or the Temple game last year that screwed over the Owls.
What is the point of all this? Just so you can point and say "oh look, Iowa never got as hosed as we did four ******* years ago against KU!!"

I mean seriously?

He was close to the corner and then decided it would be smart to dribble to the absolute worst place to go on the court

Dude, give it up. He was in the corner and had no where to go when he got the ball. But that isn't a problem when you have timeouts to burn. Oh wait...

I just asked when has Iowa got completely screwed over where it cost them the game. You guys seem to complain about officials all the time but the only game I can remember where a call or no call completely changed the outcome was the Temple game and you benefited from it.

He probably should have just called a timeout instead of dribbling in the corner. Basketball 101

I don't know if it cost them the game or not but they certainly had the odds in their favor at that point.

Yeah tons of calls happen like that where it changes the odds of the game. That's why I was clear where I said a call that cost them the game and not just a bad call somewhere in the game

After he trapped himself in the corner where the ref couldn't see him on the road in front of the opponent's bench. Can't put yourself in that position

You're a moron on this point. How could the announcers hear the timeout being called clear as day when they were further away than the ref? Doesn't even mention the fact that the Minnesota guy was way out of bounds too. A terrible call anyway you slice it. Plus, about the fasted jump ball call ever.

Every fan base complains about officiating, dude. Iowa State fans even do.

I still don't understand the point of this? You asked that question, multiple people answered, and then you immediately go to, yeah but its not as bad as we got screwed four years ago. It's like you brought up officiating just so you could one-up what an Iowa fan says. It's so pointless.

Not much of what you say makes sense
You cut me deep man

I disagree with the overall point that Twins is trying to make about the refs not ruining the game, but he most certainly did do the worst possible thing he could have in that situation.
