ISU alums, I assume? Otherwise they would be shunned by the real fans.

Ever heard that Aerosmith song? It's like one of their earlier ones I think? They used it in Dazed and Confused maybe....

"Ewwwwwwwww ew ew ewwwwww....BUTT HURTS..." I think is how it goes.

I haven't been paying attention to Iowa lately but I noticed while looking at the latest bubble watch that Iowa wasn't even mentioned in the B10's section. Did they switch conferences?

It's odd because on HR I see a lot of their fans wondering what the difference between us and them is when we only have two more wins. Some posters even posted resumes and said they were similar, it's just that EVERY SINGLE RANKING has us way way above them.

Iowa shot 23 free throws and Illinois was in single digits in free throws before intentional fouling happened

With two road games left against Wisconsin and Maryland, Iowa has a real chance to finish up with a sub .500 record. Can't get an NIT invite with a losing record.

Iowa in the CBI has a beautiful ring to it.

Must win game against Indiana to make the NIT

If they are .500 or better they will be damn near a lock for the NIT. It doesn't have anything to do with them being good, but everything to do with the NIT needing teams that people have actually heard of.

Right now there are 5 sub 60 RPI Big Ten teams with a winning record.

Hok fans pack the Carv for NIT games.
