Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Actually, there are alot more of us out there that actually respect our other state schools than you might think. Comparing 2 teams in the same state is a little different than comparing the Yankees and Red Sox who are divisional rivals in huge cities.

So none of you guys like other teams besides Iowa State?

Without getting into specifics, my wifes family is actual pretty well known in the athletic department at another Big 12 school and in college sports in general. Ive been to many games there, stayed with said people, been to bowl games, been to press conferences, players banquets, sat in press boxes.

Even after all that you can bet your a** Im cheering for Iowa State when they play each other every year. It doesnt mean I still cant wish for members of a rival school to have success also just because it isnt Iowa State.

I already said my other favorite team is Arsenal.
 
2nd favorite mbb team is whoever plays Kboo.

3rd favorite basketball team is every Big 12 team.

4th favorite is whoever plays HaLks.

You make it sound like if we have a second favorite, it has to be Eastern Iowa Technical College. I also like LSU, because my grandpa went there. But also, whoever plays Iowa in any sport, whoever is playing Kansas in basketball (or football; I like to see them suffer through football), and any Big 12 team that's playing out of conference.

Comparing the Yankees and Red Sox was maybe a bit disingenuous. It's bigger than that. These are the schools that a lot of us went to. It's a bigger part of our lives. We're only two hours apart, and a lot of people live in areas across the divide. We see these people every day. You bet your ******* ass I enjoy when Iowa sucks.

So how hard was it for Baylor to cover up 52 rapes?

Lol, nice one! Yeah, I give Iowa some credit, so naturally I must have some family that uses religious values and winning football as an excuse to rape women. It couldnt be further from Baylor on the ethics spectrum. Nice conclusion youve drawn there.

Why would you give Iowa credit but not Texas? That's what confuses me

Lol, yeah right, Texas sucks badly, just because they have a couple 5 stars doesnt mean they are good. Thats my last comment on Texas, I dont feel like debating on whether they are good anymore because they obviously arent.

Just because I don't like Iowa or Texas doesn't mean we can't agree on them sucking badly. They're pathetic basketball teams, it is what it is

Lol, you guys crack me up, did you watch our game the other night? That was one of the most pathetic crowds Ive ever seen for a Big 12 game, its starting to rival Tech's crowds when they couldnt win a game.
