Thanks! It was a good game and I was really impressed with Iowa's resilience in a tough environment.

Don't let this Texas recap distract you from the fact that Iowa somehow managed to lose by a 12 point deficit in only a 5-minute overtime
I didn't....I thought Iowa State played as hard as they could against Texas....just couldn't get over the hump in Austin. And....It was actually double overtime....
Talk to me when the transfer market heats up. We do things the Wrong Way around here
You do understand that the first overtime didn't end with Iowa in a deficit?
ISU needs to learn how to not get down to 15 point deficits in the early portion of every game. It would help save some of their close loses.
As for Iowa, I'm aware it was 2OT, that's why it's even more strange. First OT, everyone held on and stayed strong. Second OT, disappeared completely.
Iowa played really tough. For a young team, they are really improving. I'm very impressed.
You said 5 minute overtime.....so I wanted to make sure you knew it was 10 total minutes of overtime. Regardless, I'm not going to fault a young team for losing on the road in 2 OTs. Hopefully they learned a lot and will grow from it. Next game.
You do understand it was two overtimes, right? The person I was responding to said 5 minutes of overtime.
They only gave up 101 points so I guess that's pretty tough for them
They were tied after the first overtime, so yes, they lost by 12 in 5 minutes.
They lost by 12 after playing 50 minutes of basketball........which included two overtimes. I don't know of any 5 minute games.
No I didn't, I said "a 5-minute overtime". One, singular overtime. Go re-read what I said.
