Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Umm, Texas?? They are really bad, just awful. That was a truly horrid loss no matter which rankings you want to spin.

Not really. We were 3 point favorites. Texas is ranked ahead of Iowa in pretty much every computer ranking, other than RPI. Iowa was our worst loss rankings wise.

It certainly wasn't a good loss, but it wasn't awful. We've won like 2-3 games there EVER.

Will it show the blatant traveling calls on Minnesota? Or the player standing out of bounds while they called a tie up? Or will it have audio of Bohannon, Baer, Ellingons, or a combination of all 3 screaming timeout twice?

Personally I love it that Iowa lost and got "screwed". When I heard they lost this morning on the radio I knew it was going to be a good day.

I think people are disagreeing with you because you're saying Texas is awful and pathetic and Iowa is average because that is incorrect and can be proven many ways over it's incorrect

Why not, that is your strategy, pulling out RPI numbers a couple weeks ago when it was backed up your theory, then saying RPI doesnt matter when I present some RPI numbers. You do the exact same thing.

Texas sucks dude, I dont know why some of you guys cant get over that fact. Ive watched alot of their games this year and they arent good.

They didnt even play well at all and they still beat us without their best player.

Posted earlier but even though this is the never ending iowa mens basketball thread, did not referenceIowa in my post. Regarding Iowa, I think that Cook, Pemsl and even the kid from Spirit Lake all have good upsides. I find it surprising that we are lacking talented bigs in our program. It would be great to be able to run high screens and screen and rolls or even play inside out. Also noted that Minn had several serviceable bigs. They can't be that hard to find.
BTW, was Kriener recruited by other schools (Iowa State)?

Not really. His biggest recruiters by the end were Iowa, Indiana State, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, and Western Illinois. I believe the best offer he got was from Minnesota, but wasn't much action towards the end. Winthrop, Lehigh, Wichita St, and George Mason extended offers as well I think.

Iowa deserves 0 credit. They are a terrible team with a terrible coach. Jok is the only one who is any good.

It should make for an interesting match-up next year then.....because ISU will have nobody (worth anything) in the front court. As long as our guards can dribble the ball up the court and throw it inside...I like our chances....A LOT!
