They have to do even better than that. Even with wins away at Maryland and MSU included in that 5-2 and a win in the 1st round of the BTT against a middling opponent like Minny or Michigan they still only get to the mid-50's in the RPI. History does not favor that. They pretty much need to win out.
Probably have to win the BTT. When you're not on the Bubble Watch and it's Feb., you're pretty much SOL without an auto-bid. RPI of 96 needs a lot of work.

Um, Iowa State is better than Texas. Better conference record and they split head to head. I'm not sure I know where you are going with this.
Amazing how people cant comprehend the idea of a better team losing to a worse team. Its as if, they've never watched an NCAA tournament, or any basketball in their lives for that matter.
I know ISU is better than Texas. Its just not something that should be said after losing and looking bad doing so.
It's telling how bad Iowa bball is when the first thing you do the day after an ISU game is post here.
But your glaring little brother complexion aside, after getting the best win of any team in the country a let down isn't that surprising.
Yes we are much better than crappy teams like Iowa and Texas. Sometimes you lose games you should win. Unless you think UNO is better than Iowa? We played lazy and it we lost. We will still be in the NCAA tournament while you are begging to get into the NIT. Have fun getting curb stomped by a mediocre Gopher team tonight.
We started the game 2-17 from the filed and still had a shot at winning the game. I have no problem with CW going on the record and saying that we are better than Texas because it's a fact. CW is pretty damn unbiased IMO and calls a spade a spade. Last time I checked he hasn't put out a "Dear America" article like Iowa's golden boy.
Actually I posted in the game thread last night arguing against a Clone fan saying that the win for ISU at KU is worthless because of last nights loss.
The win at KU matters more than the loss at UT.
Im not that bad of a poster outside of ISR, this is just where I spend most of my time on this board.
I dont think UNO is better than Iowa but I also didn't read anything after Iowa lost where there were comments saying Iowa is the better team.
At that point in the season did anyone know if Iowa was better than UNO? Obviously Iowa State is better than Texas this year. What an odd thing to try to troll about, be better than that
I still think if you're going to call out @ChrisMWilliams on his site, you should at least give him a chance to defend himself

Actually UNO might be a middle of the pack Big 10 team this year. Such a weak conference.
I'm very confident we will get into the dance this year. I know that's the only hope you guys have since your team sucks and all but we're all good here
