What's pathetic is that some hawk fans like to put forth the notion that a passionate fanbase is somehow a bad thing. It's nothing more than a defense mechanism. Hawkeye basketball fans are basically the goth kids from South Park.

It REALLY bothers Iowa fans how engaged our fans are and that we have a home court advantage that has it's own name and is nationally known. A game at Hilton is must see TV and a game at Carver is a great opportunity to finish that new pot holder set and scarf...
