Yeah, I saw the Seton Hall, Notre Dame, and 1st Purdue game where they got destroyed. I've watched maybe 6-8 games this year from start to finish. Saw them play in person once also.Why?

I just think if you saw their bad losses you wouldn't have such an inflated opinion of them because let's face it they're pretty bad this year

Ok, 7 and 4 his freshman year, playing 28 minutes per game, you know as well as I do without looking up games that Monte started alot of games that year, so dont try to act like he barely played behind Kane.

My point is, Monte turned in a pretty solid freshman season with those numbers, Bohannon isnt shooting as well but has just as good of numbers as a true frosh. So Monte is so great, but Bohannon sucks? Got it man.
The difference is, with Monte, you could see that he had a higher ceiling. With JorBo, unless he grows a few inches or develops some athleticism, he may have already hit his ceiling.

Monte = Gesell
Freshman Monte = Freshman JorBo
Jorbo = Future Wigginton
jereseib = Johnnydognutz

It would be but it's not going to happen. I can understand being a little down on the team but not to the extent of thinking we won't make the tourney. As of right now, I'm predicting a 7 seed.

I sure hope so, would hate to see Monte, Naz, ect finish their careers playing in the NIT. They deserve better.

that and Monte was contributing on a legit final four contender while Bohannon is doing it on a team that will be lucky to be involved in the bubble talk at all.

What ranking system do you prefer? KenPom? RPI? Sagarin?

I look at RPI the most. Im more into looking at schedules and who the teams we play have beaten. Ive never really gotten into those offensive and defensive stats.

Are you going to try to ease my mind that we are fine in making the tourney? (;

Wigginton is a scoring guard, first off. Secondly, he's averaging 18.4 points (on 50% shooting), 3.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.3 steals. I don't expect that he steps on campus and maintains these numbers, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him averaging 10-12 points per game. The kids gets to the hoop on-demand.
and Wigginton is putting these numbers up and goes several trips down the floor without even touching the ball.

Believe me man, when they play each other there is no doubt whose side Im on. The rest of the year I dont mind seeing them do well. Much to the surprise of the fringe posters on here, there actually are alot of us out there that don't have any hard feelings toward the other side.
You know what? I used to be that way too but it only took one trip to Historic Kinnick Stadium to realize **** Iowa.

Bad experience? I've never been there for the ISU-Iowa game but I can imagine the drunken idiots are out in full force.
I've missed 2 Iowa State games over there dating back to 2000. A bunch of my friends are Iowa fans/season ticket holders and they usually have an extra ticket, so they drag me along. I'm fine with a college kid running their mouth but I draw the line at grown *** men in their 30's, 40's, and 50's throwing ice and trash at you and spewing vulgarity's. Iowa fans are absolutely the worst.

You weren't asking me, but yeah. When you are 10 years old, going with your mother, college students grabbing your shirt, following you around for 10 mins screaming "**** STATE!" in your ears and being knocked down repeatedly (intentionally) everywhere you turn tends to leave a bad taste in your mouth. **** Iowa.

Allright I'll stop, do I still get to criticize Prohm and our lack of good wins then?

Sure, I still think we make the dance though and I know you and others probably don't but at least that makes sense to criticize him. Calling Iowa anything but bad this year is just wrong
