Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

You sure he isn't Woodbury? Woodbury was a much better recruit though

That's not Woodbury.

No idea what he'd look like against general D1 players, but that kid is somewhat athletic, has shooting form, can jump a bit and didn't consistently use cheap, malicious physically unsafe behavior in order to get the ball.

Definitely not Woodbury in that context.

We could land a stud grad transfer, Lard and Young could be really good next year. Who knows. We'll have the clear advantage in the back court next year with Wigginton
This is the point. We are talking about "coulds" whereas Iowa already "has". Like we had a clear advantage this year in the backcourt?

We'll need to see a lot of improvement from Lard an Youg, need to land impact transfers this Spring, and hope Wigginton has no growing pains.

What does Iowa have already? They're bad this year and losing their best player. This has to be the worst defensive team Fran has ever had

Let's see here. School with a solid track record in the transfer market plans on offering some grad transfers to fill some holes inside We have playing time to offer for a 4 or 5 but yeah, I'm sure we'll strike out....

Iowa is not a "bad" team. No, they are not very good but I wouldn't call them bad. They will have nights like last night and then they will have nights that Iowa fans will want to pull their hair out. At this point though, it's not fair to call Iowa bad.

If you're an NIT bubble team I would say you are a bad team. That's just me. Second worst RPI in a bad conference

I dont agree with Miller, ever. They will not have to win it. But they will have to get to about 12-6 in the league and win 2 games in the B1G tourney. That would put them at 22-12.

It's more realistic to just win the Big Ten tourney probably even if the league is down this year. They'll be lucky to win more than a game or two on the road this year

It's like Iowa players intentionally try to look nerdy. What was with Kriener's hair?? And Why does Baer run like a hunch back?
Really good win for them. Some guys came up with some huge unexpected plays for them and they got the benefit of a really bad call by the refs.
