Don't know why I'd lie about who I follow on Twitter. I really don't follow any Hawkeye people besides I have friends who are fans. I did follow Liestikow until football season started though just because he was a DMR guy but then his stuff was brutal to see on my timeline

For some reason they like to turn arguments to players success in NBA as a last ditch argument. Garrett/Babb/BDJ NBA minutes continue to grow while Fran's vaunted late second round picks continue to play practically no minutes, about 10x less overall than recent Cyclones who have been in and out of league.

Yes, its a product of the new watered down Big Ten conference where unbalanced schedules determine conference champions now. Adding Rutgers and Maryland only further degraded the conference, especially in football, although Maryland is proving they can play in basketball.

It's sorta funny to see the anger in some of Leistikow tweets when the Hawks are losing.

He wasn't even trying to hide being a Hawkeye fan in football season. The only thing I've seen from him in basketball is when him and Gray got into it when Gray compared Texas Tech to Indiana.

Hawkeye homerism seems to be more acceptable in Iowa media. When Uncle Randy does it he is a doddering old fool. When Leistikow does it, it's fine. Why can't Leistikow be a doddering middle-age fool?

LOL. Gray was correct, too. Tech had a better RPI at the time.

I had followed several Hawk relayed twitter ers, but it got unbearable last half of football season. Leistikow was terrible, and he was on the radio every other day on top of that.

Local media spin: These guys are ultra-competitive. They hate to lose.

If the situation were reversed and this was ISU guys pulling this stunt: There's something going on behind the scenes I'm sure the full story will come out after the season is over, but something is just off with this team.
