After the Maryland game I said Iowa's bench was regressing to the mean and Split said it wasn't a regression yet. What do you think Split, can we officially label it as such now?

And with that ISU is ahead of Iowa in the RPI according to Live RPI.

I miscounted. It was two.

And I would say ISU has 4 scorers in Niang, Morris, Nader and Burton. Thomas also averages double figures. But your point still stands.

as disappointing as losing to ranked teams on the road has been for some on here, Iowa has lost 2 straight to unranked teams.

Out of embarrassment, they asked to have the hawkeye removed from the name. Going with Crappy Carver instead.

3 scorers and 3 guys who can go off for 15 plus, Iowa doesn't have that, Gessell is the next best scorer they have

I guess Fran said in the postgame he has to find more minutes for Ellingson and Wagner. He's a stubborn guy.

Jok, Uthoff and Clemmons blew off interview requests. Don't know if I've heard of players doing that since ISU football

I would actually think Clemmons is the third best scorer after Jok/Uthoff, which is sad. Gesell has been absolute garbage.

Not really a big surprise. So many big 10 teams had issues early on. Now most are back on point. Iowa just isn't that great of a team.

He might have been talking specifically about this game, but yes. But still, Ellingson is terrible and shouldn't see the floor the rest of the season.

My favorite part was when Uthoff was sitting at the scorer's table waiting for the 4-minute media timeout, Woodbury is almost literally dying on the floor and Fran still doesn't take a timeout. At least 1:30 ran off the clock, if not more.

Per Iowa: Jok blew off post game interview because of illness and Uthoff just left.
