Im not attempting to troll. If I was trolling I would be in the ISU board...not the instate rivals board.

You should troll. Tell them how a win tonight against a Rico-less #25 Baylor would mean nothing since a win against a #4 Michigan St. with Valentine meant nothing. They'll love it.

I've not discounted iowa's wins against MSU; in fact, I believe Iowa is a very solid team that is set for a deep run potentially in the NCAA.

But are you really comparing Valentine's importance to MSU with Gathers to Baylor?

Niang averages 19.2 to Uthoff's 18.8 so as I said, about the same. And are you serious about the defense?

Also, Uthoff 1.0 turnovers per game to Niang's 2.6, and Uthoff commits less fouls.

I guess it is a skill set to have the body control and acting abillities to get to the line that often but I don't respect it as much as I do someone who is scoring by making jumpers or finishing at the rim.
