Rag on that coach all you want, he is an adult and way more pathetic than what the 16 year old did.
If that coach is affiliated with the Barnstormers that is worse than what Fran's boys did and what Fran's boys did was pretty bad

I agree that it was wrong what he did. He apologized, move on. All I'm saying is people sitting on a message board ripping a 16 year old kid for saying some dumb **** on twitter is even more pathetic.
He is 16, so no. 16 year olds normally aren't too mature and do and say dumb **** all the time.So you're not concerned about the sportsmanship of a future hawkeye player?
If the hawks don't make it the NCAA tournament when he's a player, will be rip on a smaller conference school that got an at large bid over them because of their "level of competition"?
If he tells hawk fans on twitter to "suck a fat one" will that not be a concern?
You're comparing a 20 year old college students social media habits to a 15 year old? Lol, 15 year olds shouldn't even have a twitter account to begin with.

Seriluslyhopp, their coach is the epitome of terrible sportsmanship. Do you think they even care about that?So you're not concerned about the sportsmanship of a future hawkeye player?

I don't think @CyTwins does anything but troll. It is tough because I love discussing basketball, but even when I compliment ISU and say they earn their seeds he comes at me and calls me names, and says I don't understand anything. Very weird really, now he is gonna go on and on forever about high school kids tweets.
So you're not concerned about the sportsmanship of a future hawkeye player?

Considering he is 15/16 I think this could very well be a valuable learning experience for him. At least I hope it is. He is still very much in his formative years. Character/sportsmanship is built not inherent. Young kids say/do/tweet stupid things all the time. They key is that they learn from their mistakes and correct said behavior.
Didnt ISU fans hurl racial slurs at KU players after KU won in Hilton a few years back?
He thinks because 2 morons are racist and said stupid things on twitter that represents our entire fan base.Link?
He's 17 or 18, my point still stands.Connor is not 15 or 16
He's 17 or 18, my point still stands.
If your point is he comes off like an entitled baby I completely agree with you
Yeah, a guy that lives in a small town can't be a good basketball player without moving to a metro? He scored 30 points per game this year, it's not like he sucked. My boys play basketball at a smaller school. Not as small as Joe Smoldt's. They were discussing this yesterday and weren't real impressed by the attitude that only a 4A player is deserving. I imagine other kids in the state feel the same.
