Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Iowa doesn't have a main rival in any sport. In order of rivalry for FB and BB I would go with:

FB
1) Wisconsin
2) Minnesota
3) Nebraska
4) ISU
5) Michigan

BB
1) Wisconsin
2) Minnesota
3) Illinois
4) ISU

But whether or not those teams feel the same way is another story.

Okay from that list I believe a Trophy of some kind is involved with all the FB "rivals". Correct?

With that premise EIU basketball doesn't have a rival game (unless the CYHawk series would count).

Not sure on Fran, Kirk has proved it's the biggest game by all the things he does to gets his players pumped up before their big game. If you want to talk about that you can start about it in the football thread but it's been proven that's Kirk's biggest game
Whatever dude, I'm so sick of your **** about that. Come up with something else for once. I would rather Iowa won a conference game than a non-conference game. If Kirk views it differently, fine, he has proven that he can coach and win big games, so I don't really care.

I don't blame you for thinking that way, that's how I think but that's not how Kirk things. The ISU is his biggest game and he's proven it. Since this is a basketball topic let's keep it on basketball, my opinion is Fran views it as the biggest game but I can't prove that, just one man's opinion

What school has trophy games in basketball?

In one of the worst conferences in the country. You are on the NIT bubble, I consider that a losing team.

Not even sure if this deserves a comment but I'll bite. He is six foot tall, plays major minutes for a P5 basketball team and on a team that is 16-13.
He plays major minutes because he plays on a horrible team that has nobody else. That's not something to be proud of.

How many Sweet 16 teams do you think the Big 10 will get? They look like a lock for 7 total bids right now.

I'm going to say only 1 team makes the Sweet 16 this year.
I think Purdue has a chance. Michigan State isn't very good this year but Izzo seems to have some voodoo magic that seems to help in March. If I had to bet, I would say 1, and 0 in the Elire 8.
