Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

At worst, it's a wash. Seriously. Jok is hampered by his knees. If that weren't the case, I'd likely be singing a different tune.
There is literally no one in the country, not one person, outside of this forum, who knows anything about college basketball, that would say Jackson is just as good or better than Jok. Not one.

I've said many times over ISU football and Iowa basketball are very comparable

In what way?

Iowa historically in basketball is a top 25-30 program. ISU in football isn't historically anywhere near as strong as Iowa.

In more recent history (Over the last 4 years) Iowa basketball has 3 NCAA appearances and one down year. ISU football over the last 4 years hasn't been good.

I'm not really getting the comparison unless you Cherry pick some years 5-15 years ago.

Great win on Saturday and great showing by Cook and Bohannon. Their best games so far. Not sure how much better Bohannon can get though. But for Cook he has a lot of potential. He could have scored over 30 in that game. Maryland is really regressing though and their defense is even worse than Iowa's.

No clue right now but it won't include 3 guards.

Based on the roster we have right now plus the 2017 kids, Bohannon and Moss will start in the back court.

The front court will be some combo of Wagner, Baer, Cook, Pemsl and Garza.
From a pure comedy standpoint, Baer, Pemsl and Garza would be awesome.

Morris also played second fiddle to this dude named Deandre Kane. He was the alpha guard/player on that team by a long shot. Bohannon has no one on the roster to compete with like that.
Honest question to Hawkeye fans. Do you think Bohannon would play minutes for ISU this year?

Yes.

Remember when Prohm said in the offseason Morris would play less minutes this season? He has no legitimate backup.

You think Bohannon would play for ISU this year? Jackson is better than Bohannon, not even the biggest Hawkeye homer would disagree with that. Prohm also values defense, he's not going to put in a 5'11 SG and play zone defense to try to hide him

So, you're speaking for the entire country?

Looks like Creighton had the worst RPI and record of the at large NIT teams last year at 94 and 18-14. If Iowa splits these last two games their RPI is projected at 94.5. In this scenario I think they have to win at least one tournament game to get in.

Jackson >>>> Jok? Omg, is this really happening right now????I know I said I wouldnt post again in here but I have to pass along the trophy for "Dumbest thing said on this message board".

This is not only by far the dumbest thing said on this board, it rivals with one of the dumbest things Ive ever heard in my life. Period.

Will you have the trophy shipped or would you like to pick it up in person?

Jackson is a better shooter and can defend. Prohm isn't going to play 10+ guys, only bad coaches and Huggins do that
Okay, I just answered your question? If like 7 minutes and 2 shots per game is him being in the "rotation", then yes, I think he would do something similar like that at Iowa State. Jackson and Bohannon don't play the same roles, so it is hard to compare.
