Let's see how the season plays out before assuming we are a lock and Iowa has no chance.

So beating Iowa State and Purdue are worse wins than beating Texas Tech and Miami? They also lost to tourney teams like Seton Hall, Virginia, and Notre Dame. Miami just lost again last night and are looking like an NIT team.

Yeah, the loss to Omaha was inexplicable, but then again our loss to them where we werent even in the game was just as bad.

So, Ill agree, we are overall the better team and will probably separate ourselves from them come tourney time but to say right now we are "Alot" better is quite the stretch.

Seton Hall is a bubble team they lost to at home and you conveniently left out Memphis who is bad. Miami was on a neutral court and we dominated them.

I would say yes, ISU is clearly the best team in the state right now and that shouldn't be controversial.

Again, if you would read the thread instead of just posting gibberish you would see I said possible is the wrong word to use, ideal would have been a better choice.

2 kids age 5 and under, full time job, a regularly scheduled community group through our church that we have on Thursdays, and a 5 hour round trip does not make it an ideal trip for me.

CyTwins is either a troll or so dense that he cant see Iowa has become a solid team. Does anyone on here feel confident that if we had a 10 game series against Iowa right now on a neutral court that we would win more than 5 of them? I would give us a good chance to win 6, 7 at the most.

We already got smoked by them, without Cook, when they were playing horribly early in the season, with a bunch of freshman in their first 3 weeks of college basketball.
