So far pretty lucky to not have any of those losses yet this year.
Do you think ISU was better than Iowa last year when Iowa **** away a 20 point lead in Hilton?

Except Iowa is five seconds away from winning three of four. Every game the last like six years, save for one blowout on each side, has been super competitive. It is absolutely hilarious that Iowa state fans act like they have some elite basketball program.
Iowa State isn't elite, just on a different level than Iowa. Not much of a debate there. Head to head supports that to. There isn't a different column for losses where you tried real hard.
Stopped reading after you said you would take Young over Pemsl all day.
Try and be a little objective in your analysis.
Is there a column for playing games against teams that don't belong on the same court as ISU?
If so, ISU is 1-1 in those games this year.
Let me guess, in all of you're objectivity you've seen Young play one game? Right after he came back with his splint. I'd take this bet any day.
Every year Iowa fans come up with one dumb comparison to make themselves feel better about the talent gap. Last year Uthoff > Niang, 2 years ago White = Niang, Monte = Gessel.
Your posts give the impression that there isnt even an argument to be made in regards to Young>Pemsl and that is so far off.
Again, Pemsl is a freshman shooting 75% from the field and averaging 10 and 5 while playing less than 20 MPG. He is averaging 14.5 PPG and 6 RPG since entering the starting lineup.
To think that ISU couldnt find minutes for someone that is producing like Pemsl is absurd.

Pemsl is a good player, but let's wait and see how he performs against Big 10 competition. Most stats are exaggerated in the non-con.
Good point. He had 11 pts (57% FG) and 5 boards against ISU so there's a chance he sees those numbers decrease once Iowa faces better competition.

No, only Cook and Bohannon. Is Pemsl a one and done?

Just imagine if Cook had played in Monte's Super Bowl.Obviously played up that game because of the Super Bowl factor
Exactly. A slightly lower level, but still belong on the same court. Head to head proved that.Iowa State isn't elite, just on a different level than Iowa. Not much of a debate there. Head to head supports that to. There isn't a different column for losses where you tried real hard.
