Another one (Non-football):

Went to my Accounting Information Systems class one morning, we are all sitting there and no professor. 5 minutes go by, 10 minutes go by and we decide we are leaving at 15 minutes. Professor shows up with her kid and proceeds to tell us the pre-school called her to come get her kid because the kid has lice. So she brings the lice kid to class. The kid is sitting in the chairs amongst us students, except she is doing head stands and stuff like that in the chairs. I'm pretty positive everyone in that class left feeling itchy, went home and showered immediately.

I have never been ANGRIER, or more likely to physically assault someone, than I was at that moment. And I was up in 236. How no one in the lower bowl charged the court or started a riot is absolutely beyond me.

Dec of 1987 I think...

My cousin played Football for ISU under Criner. He invited me over to his house he was renting with some other football players. It was the night of Lafester dropping 54 on the Hoks. A couple hours after the game, the doorbell rang... it was Johnny Orr with a case of beer! Johnny lived across the street and my cousin invited him over earlier in the day and he freakin' showed up. He stayed for about 10 minutes and talked about the game, then left and went home. He didn't drink anything... he looked worn out from the game and his voice was pretty hoarse. That was super cool!

-Sam Mack holding up the Burger King
-Three ISU football players arrested for counterfeiting
-Lafester Rhodes stomping on a Kansas State player's chest.
-Jamelle Holloway (Oklahmoma QB) wearing a full-length fur coat while eating a hot dog on the sideline during the second half of a football game in Ames.
-End zone hot tub

The late 80's and early 90's were dark days for ISU athletics.

We had great seats for that one. About 10 rows behind it all. He was chatting with the Cheer leaders before halftime.

WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?!?!?!
It was quite…. awkward. Had a pillow on his lap and everything and slammed the door in my face and told me to come back later. Dude was one strange bastard. Pretty sure the he ran for governor once too. Google search tells me that I think he’s still at ISU. Hope more poor SOBs don’t fall victim like I did.

A kid by the name of Allen Patten was going to tell either Criner or Walden that he was quitting the team after practice. Before he had the chance Coach singled him out as the perfect student athlete and that others on the team should try and emulate his behaviors. Patten of course stayed with the team.

I was neighbors with Dedric Willoughby and Kenny Pratt in 96-97. Jump started Dedric's Land Cruiser(?) one day. Also got a visit from Ames detectives, I had nothing to say.

2009 ISU Football @ Nebraska.

Nebraska committed eight turnovers, including four inside the Iowa State 5, and the Cyclones upset the Cornhuskers 9-7 for their first victory in Lincoln since 1977.
good idea. We also had a bunch of players sick. Arnaud had an injured hand and A-rob was also out.
