Seriously, how does the NCAA make these decisions? They are just looking more and more silly in their judgments.
Now, for Burton, on the line of explanation, just say, "I'm like SDW."
I gave up on trying to understand that last season. TaShawn Thomas and Danuel House both left Houston and were allowed to play immediately. There's absolutely no consistency from the NCAA on these decisions.
So when you transfer from isu you get the waiver. When you transfer to isu you dont? What gives
Not sure if true, but I was hearing a rumor that OU put big bucks in to lawyers to win the Thomas waiver, but ISU compliance dept. doesn't believe in that. Anyone else know if lawyers can actually be used to persuade the NCAA??? Idk if I believe that anyway, because then there would be several others doing it.
Absolutely good lawyers could help steer the NCAA in a certain direction. The NCAA is very corrupt and slaps the wrists of major teams that have violations and death sentences other teams for the same thing
