Scary Movie ?

The Blair Witch Project when I was 12 and thought it was a real documentary. The last scence was crazy...especially thinking about all those times I had done things like that in abandoned houses and in the woods.

The Exorcist. When Regan comes down the stairs flipped over with blood coming out of her mouth, I crap my pants.

Every time

A new film that I think was pretty scary.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose

Supposedly a lot of the film is based upon real court transcripts. Could be a marketing ploy though.

That movie ranked off my weird crap-o-meter. Pretty sure I pulled that outta the $5 DVD rack at Walmart.

No doubt about it - "Creature From the Black Lagoon". Of course, I was about six when I watched it. Scared the bejeebers out of me.

Agree with The Thing and The Exorcism of Emily Rose. There is a scene in Event Horizon that is probably the most distrubing thing I have ever seen.

Saw Poltergeist when I was about 8 years old. There was a tree outside my bedroom window. I kept the shades closed for quite some time.

The Amityville Horror also creeped me out.

Halloween, the orig. I thought Carrie was a good scary movie. The scene when she kills her mom and her mom mirrors all the Jesus statues was creepy to me.

The Descent was pretty scary when I watched it alone in the dark. Needless to say, I will never be going into caves any time soon.

I saw Carrie when I as in 6th grade, so nothing really scares me too much. If I had to choose one, I'd say Steven King's Storm of the Century is definitely the most scary movie I've ever seen. The demon, the kids disappearing.... I hated that movie.

I am so desensatized to gore and horror from video games and movies, but back in the day Stephen king's "It" did it for me.I watched it about 5 years before I should have and my sister who is 4 years older literally pried my eyes open to make me watch certain scary parts. Since then the first hills have eyes was gorey but I just don't get scared like I used 2, the 2nd one was Terrible!

The Thing was awesome.

Others for me:

The original Halloween
The original Exorcist

I'd have to go with these two. The original Halloween is incredibly well-shot - the cinematography is fantastic. #2 wasn't bad, either. The Exorcist is just terrifying.

I watched Poltergeist and Firestarter both one night when I was about 4 or 5 with my dad, and I couldn't watch "scary" movies again until I was in my late teens. Then I started watching whole series with some high school friends.

The movie that creeps me out (not scary, just "ew") the most is The Fly with Jeff Goldblum. That is the only movie that ever made me vomit.

My kids and I just watched SAW 1, 2, and 3 this weekend. Pretty cool stuff. We then all did Meth together and left the trailerpark to go watch some dogfights. Great weekend.
