Thinking of taking the family down tomorrow night is it worth trying to scalp 6 tickets down in kc?

All I know is last year for the same semi-final match-up against KU, the ticket prices were ridiculously high...but that may have also had something to do with K-State playing in the other semi last year.

I'd be really surprised if you can get 6 together. But maybe.

Last year was an absolute zoo to scalp tickets for the semis. If KU loses that means it will be ISU/OSU/two smaller basketball fan bases and prices should be lower. If KU wins then all bets are off.

I sold a single ticket in the balcony for the semi final session last year for $150. 6 tickets together this year will probably run you about the same per ticket if not worse if you can even find that many together.

If KU wins this game it's going to be an expensive ticket. A scalper may have 6 together but those guys are going to gouge you more than fans will. My brother said that the first session today the cheapest ticket they could find was $225 about 2 hours before the game so they headed to the bar to watch. For the night session only $15 because Texas, OU, WVU, and Baylor are playing so no local teams to drive up demand. If OSU wins the prices will go down some but with ISU still being in it and having a good showing of fans I bet the tickets would still be pricey. From personal experience from past years, whenever KU is still alive ticket prices will be inflated. We always asked the the scalpers what they were selling tickets for then set our price lower when we were looking to unload tickets at the tournament.

Meanwhile at the SEC tourney

Man I wish OSU would have won for some many reasons. This is just another huge one. Tix are going to be insane like last year.....

Personally I have gone down many years and only went to Kelly's. Now with the P&L it's an even better experience. But with kids, it doesn't quite work the same. It will be loud tomorrow night.

I would assume prices shouldn't be too bad for Saturday if we win since that would mean a lot of KU fans are selling tickets.
