Did anyone hear the Cael interview on Murph and Andy today. In particular the quote where he reached out to PSU, not the other way around? Just wanted to get your thoughts, or are you completely over it now? They thought it would create a fire storm.

Wish we had Cael, but I want a guy that wants to be here.

Don't know that I would say a few years left, but it's definitely a dying sport. In today's business model of running college sports, wresting just doesn't fit well. Maybe that's what JP told Cael when he was here. "Our focus is football and BBall." and it made Cael Mad. Don't like him for leaving, but can't blame him either. Just wish he would have went somewhere other than PEDDY U.
 
Cael is a POS. ISU bent over backwards to help him during his Olympic run, and then he craps on the school. I would have been ok with him leaving, but when he took all the wrestlers and recruits, I lost all respect for him. I wish him nothing but the worst. He's no better than the Brands idiots at EIU.

Is anyone still upset that Johnny Major left?? Maybe Earle Bruce?? How about Tim Floyd?? Might as well air it all out in this thread. It happened 3-4 years ago?? It's over. No need to still be ****** about it.

The only part that sucked is we pushed Douglas out for Cael and I truely think he didn't understand or appreciate it in the long run.

Did Johnny Majors, Earl Bruce, Tim Floyd all play at ISU? Did ISU push out a relatively successful coach to give them their first head coaching jobs?

Yeah I didn't think so. Totally different situations.

My Great Great Grandpa is still ****** at Pop Warner! I was not allowed to play organized football until I was in Junior High....

But yeah, by now who cares.
 
It's funny how many people go to great lengths to trash CS yet never post in the wrestling forum until they can trash the sport or the coaches.

CS left because JP was at the time refusing to endorse the sport.
