San Antonio Actvities

I am working with ISUAA and the Athletic Dept to establish timelines, venues and details for this weekend in San Antonio. I expect to have a lot of information to release on Tuesday morning. Just figured I would fill the information void with something to look forward to.

BTW.... I drove to KC on Saturday morning from DFW with 3 other Cyclones. We had the time of our lives and blew it up at the P&L followed by hanging with the team in the lobby at the Marriott after midnight. Memories like that are hard to describe to outsiders.

Official Cyclone meeting place is going to be at Hard Rock Cafe on the Riverwalk. This will go out officially in the morning from ISU. While any pep rally or other team related activities are coordinated directly with the NCAA we have secured an agreement with the Hard Rock to offer Iowa State Fans 20% off food, non-alcoholic and retail special (excludes charity items) if they are wearing Fan Flare and mention the offer.

There are many of us planning to stay at the Hilton Palacio Del Rio also on the Riverwalk so Tex's Sports Bar & Grille inside the hotel will also likely be a good secondary meeting place.

I personally have 2 tickets Section 115, Row 25 Seat 8 and 9 available for Session 1 if anyone knows someone who might be interested. The price is negotiable. PM me for details.

awesome, thanks for organizing. I'll be only be able to make the 3rd session, but am open to splitting hotel costs if anyone is interested.

Wish I had the time available to go to some of the other events/places! But I'm just glad I can make it to the first game! Hoping for another laaate Sunday game and I might make that one too!
