Running the table

KU has TCU, WV, and Tech in Lawrence yet. No way they lose any of those games. Then they have ISU and Baylor on the road. They would have to lose both of those, and I cant see Scott Drew letting that happen.

It's possible but a lot of things would need to happen.

Yes, some of the help required would have to come from Baylor beating KU and UT beating KSU. Not impossible, but I don't see it (and I don't expect to win out anyway — although also possible).

One scenario:
1. Iowa State (13 - 5) With Kansas, defeated Oklahoma State based on record against #4 teams. Defeated Kansas based on record against #6 teams.
2. Kansas (13 - 5) With Iowa State, defeated Oklahoma State based on record against #4 teams. Lost to Iowa State based on record against #6 teams.
3. Oklahoma State (13 - 5) Lost to Iowa State and Kansas based on record against #4 teams.
4. Kansas State (12 - 6) Defeated Oklahoma based on head-to-head record.
5. Oklahoma (12 - 6) Lost to Kansas State based on head-to-head record.
6. Baylor (9 - 9)
7. West Virginia (7 - 11) Defeated Texas based on head-to-head record.
8. Texas (7 - 11) Lost to West Virginia based on head-to-head record.
9. Texas Tech (3 - 15)
10. TCU (1 - 17)

Running the table would give us a solid 3rd, possibly and 2nd with some upsets.

Would love to have 2nd because we would guarantee a first round game in KC vs. Tech, Texas, TCU, or WV

I expect something close to this:
1. Kansas (14 - 4) Defeated Kansas State based on head-to-head record.
2. Kansas State (14 - 4) Lost to Kansas based on head-to-head record.
3. Oklahoma State (13 - 5)
4. Oklahoma (12 - 6)
5. Iowa State (11 - 7)
6. West Virginia (8 - 10)
7. Baylor (7 - 11) Defeated Texas based on record against #3 teams.
8. Texas (7 - 11) Lost to Baylor based on record against #3 teams.
9. Texas Tech (3 - 15)
10. TCU (1 - 17)

OU's stretch run is fairly easy, Baylor's is rugged.

This is assuming ISU wins out at home and loses both on the road. Win either of those and all at Hilton, flip 4th & 5th.

I could also see KSU winning at OSU. That could move Iowa State into third.
