Yep, you nailed it! UNO was a better team than Iowa last year. One game during the early part of the season proved that without a doubt.

Nope. We all knew ISU was the better basketball team last year.
Not sure your Hawkeye Logic will understand this but let's look at the FACTS of last season....
-Iowa didn't make the NCAA Tourney and lost in the 2nd rd of the NIT(Not In Tourney).
-ISU won the Big 12 Tournament, was a 5 seed in the NCAA Tourney, and lost in the 2nd rd.
Now... only in Hawkeye Logic World would someone say Iowa had the better basketball team last season.
Easy to make the tourney when you play in an easy conference. Hard to say a team that lost by 15 is better than another.

So you'd agree then that as someone else said, the University of Nebraska-Omaha was a better basketball team than Iowa last year, right?
I'm a lifelong Cyclone fan, but even I know that OU is a much better football team than ISU is this year. ISU was better on one day yesterday, but OU would beat us 9 times out of 10 most likely. Just as ISU's basketball team would have beaten Iowa probably at least 7 or more times out of 10 last year, but give Iowa credit for showing up on that night.
ISU CLEARLY had the better season and better team last year in basketball. That is, unless you are using Hawkeye Logic. Once you have that Hawkeye Logic disease, it must be really hard to get rid of. Do you believe in unicorns too?
Please don't confuse him with facts. Hawkeye Logic doesn't know how to use facts when making their judgments.
