So what I'm seeing is...Royce is broke.

I loved Royce at ISU and thought he had his act together. I thought it was a mistake for him to go...that seems to have proven out. I wish him luck...but until he gets his life together I don't think there is enough luck to overcome his self limitations.

Royce is going to get a chance to prove himself to the Clippers. He should get a good opportunity to make the team with Clip Show's lack of depth in the front court if he can put it together and impress. Rooting for him.

I want to watch this if televised, will watch later games even if Royce isn't in it. Nate Robinson playing for a cash payday in pickup game fashion could be very entertaining.
I believe the championship & semis will be on ESPN along w/some other games as well. It's an interesting concept & there's a lot of talent this year. Anytime I can watch Royce, Robinson, Jason Williams, Brian Scalabrine, Marshall Henderson, etc. I'll be tuning in.
I saw Royce last week at the gym here in Minneapolis. He looked like he has trimmed down a bit. I hope he catches on some where.
....and John Sears just said on the Channel 13 sports cast that Royce has NEVER played in an NBA regular season game. Prepare for much hate tweeting/e-mails, John.
It'd be great to see him revive his career. Mr. White is a good man, but we all know his fear of flying which has postponed his professional career. If he signs, I may have to root for the Bulls next year when they aren't playing LAL. I don't think he'll live up to the Charles Barkley comparison pre-draft, but he still can have a good career. Not counting out hope yet for the kid. He's the same guy that was our best player in the early stages of the resurrection of the program.
Royce will always be one of my favorite guys to come through ISU. Such a kind and genuine guy with tons of talent that made you not believe what you were watching at times.
That said, Royce has never really shown the kind of long term focus and determination that is required to be a successful professional athlete. He's got other priorities in life, and that all right.
