Royce White On the Court Resembles...

I think the comprison was good, as long as you don't look for RW to be at the same level of play as Magic played at. He does appear to handle the ball very and pass very well, has moves around the basket, all things that Magic did. Now the question is, can he do it in the Big 12. We will all have to wait and see.

This. I don't think the OP meant to say "RW is as good as magic" but just stating the two are similar in the way they play the game. Comparisons like that are made all the time in sports.

Last year on the high school football state championship game apparently the announcers thought some of the kids were Tim tebow, peyton manning and Adrian Peterson

That comparison is like comparing me to Lance Armstrong because I can ride a bicycle well.

He just compared a guy who has never played a B12 game to, in my opinion, the best PG of all time. That's a bit of a stretch.

Royce has talent, there's no denying it, but lets not be insane.

By the way horses are comparable to ants because they both walk.

He reminds me of a black Jesus! Come on people, first Fizer and now Magic? Let the man play 1 minute of NCAA ball before this gets out of hand.

I think it is way way way to early to make comparisons to anybody at this point...you may be able to start earlier than the Big 12 season though. There is a Michigan game that will hopefully show us what type of player he is!

Many more posts about Royce and i may actually start rooting against him. I kid, of course, but we need a R. White board.

I sure hope the OP is right, afterall Magic Led his team to the big game vs Bird and Won! 1979. Remember Carmello led his team in his first year. Trully great players have abilities that propel their teams to unprecedented heights, but being a little more realistic - Fizer was one of the best at Iowa State and until Tinsley arrived the team was still just average. Royce can be a great player, but as others have stated, lets let him play some games before increasing expectatoins to the point where they are not only unrealistic but unfair.

Well if we're comparing him to NBA players, he reminded me of Rasheed Wallace in the highlights and videos I've seen of him.

I've yet to see him blow up and get a technical.

From what we have seen so far I would say it's very clear that if Royce wants to leave after one year he is a lock to be a lottery pick.

In the Italy National Basketball League.

With all the great gametape of Royce we've got to go off of I'd say he's a mix of Magic, Larry Bird, MJ, Oscar Roberston and Shaq, I'd say.
