Basically, I see Magic Johnson in a young Shaquille's body with a wonderful little twist of Oscar Robertson. Since Royce's shooting ability is a little better than Larry Bird's at that stage of his life, he'll do OK.

I think the comprison was good, as long as you don't look for RW to be at the same level of play as Magic played at. He does appear to handle the ball very and pass very well, has moves around the basket, all things that Magic did. Now the question is, can he do it in the Big 12. We will all have to wait and see.
This. I don't think the OP meant to say "RW is as good as magic" but just stating the two are similar in the way they play the game. Comparisons like that are made all the time in sports.
Last year on the high school football state championship game apparently the announcers thought some of the kids were Tim tebow, peyton manning and Adrian Peterson
Well if we're comparing him to NBA players, he reminded me of Rasheed Wallace in the highlights and videos I've seen of him.
With all the great gametape of Royce we've got to go off of I'd say he's a mix of Magic, Larry Bird, MJ, Oscar Roberston and Shaq, I'd say.
