Theyre f***ing terrible. The only reason Iowa is losing right now are the refs.

In addition to you're/your, Hawk fans suck at Subject-Verb agreement too. "Only reason" is the subject and singular, so "IS" not "are" would be the correct verb. Refs are not the subject of the sentence.
