Getting the Rose Bowl records out, I am interested in seeing Iowa firmly ensconced in:
1) Largest margin of defeat
2) Post picks thrown
3) Giving up the most return yards
4) Earliest starting of the team buses
5) Most sticks of chewing gum swallowed
Don't know about you, I'd be happy watching Stanford hang a hundred and twelve on AIB in the Rose Bowl.
I felt like Stanford had as good a case for the playoff with two losses as MSU did with one. Seems like they feel that way too.
He's more entertaining when he's saying national champion Texas and Vince Young suck at football all year and the Big 12 sucks as it goes 6-1 in bowls, 7-0 against spread. Guy is horrendously wrong frequently, I doubt he even watches any games.
Hawk fans are already starting with the conspiracy theories. "Big XII refs are out to get them."
The committee did make a usual new-rule-of-the-week for Stanford that their NW loss didn't count because time zones. Almost surprised they didn't get in when the B10 rep was only MSU and not OSU/MICH.
When it comes to Rose Bowls Stanford is king, being in 3 of the last 4. This is practically a home game for them, and they're showing it. Iowa is outmatched and outclassed. Go Cardinals.
