I'm having more fun rooting against Iowa in this game than I had in most of our games this past season. Not sure if I should feel bad about that or not . . .

I was going to be the supportive guy and cheer for them. It turns out it's more fun this way.

Remember that time Hawk fans justified being better than Standford because they crushed Northwestern while the Cardinals lost? Apparently a Standford education teaches you that the transitive property doesn't work in athletics.

Some teams get better over the course of the season, while others just play inferior opponents.

Harbaugh is someone you could rely on to have his team looking sharp. I bet his players didn't have a chance to enjoy themselves much though.

I can't say too much about Iowa here...they've done this to Iowa State.

Can someone help me with a stat I saw on here recently but now I can't find it??? Iowa has played X top 5 teams in the past X years, while ISU has played X many this season alone. (let that sink in....)

A guy at work, the very first thing he said to me re:Iowa or Iowa State was "F*** Iowa State, I hope they lose every game" last season after the Oklahoma game.

This season he tried to claim he always roots for ISU when they're not playing Iowa, and I was bad for hoping MSU won.
