Going with my wife and our three kids. First time for the kids at a Cyhawk game. Can't wait.

Depending on the age of the kids that may not be a good choice, I hope you enjoy the game though. A few yrs ago a hawk fan sicced an usher on the section I was in at Hilton, he was surprised there was swearing and heckling at an ISU/Ia game in Hilton.

Went two years ago, was my first trip to Carver Hawkeye and I was thoroughly unimpressed with the venue compared to Hilton. Unfortunately we got our asses kicked, so I'll be returning tomorrow for some sweet redemption.

It is a **** hole- Been 4 times one ISU win Indian Win Metallica Win ISU VB first loss since 1997 SUCKED BIGLY!

Was there for the Niang kiss game when Hok fans started leaving at the under 16 in the second half. I was also there for the debacle two years ago...

Hopefully tomorrow is more like the first scenario mentioned.

We live in Iowa City and the kids are used to getting grief at school for wearing Cyclone gear. It’s all good.

That was so much fun. Loud cyclone power chant at end of game. Caused the last few hoks fans in building to scurry for the nearest exit.

Same here, been to last two there with my hok neighbor with season tickets in row 4 ii. Both times were actually very pleasant experience with nobody saying anything to me even after we got our ass kicked last year. They were as shocked as I was that we lost. I’m guessing tomorrow will be a close one unlike the last 2 there.

I’m sure it has to do with how awful the team played 2 years ago. It wasn’t entertaining at all. Luckily this year we are ahead of 2 years ago at this point in time and Iowa is no better.

Driving up from Burlington with the worst type of hok fan; an ISU grad who succumbed to the dark side. In his defense his daughter does go to toe, and he claims to go both ways, but I know better.

I go every time it’s in Iowa city because family has season tickets. I have never had a bad experience, you’ll hear a few stupid comments but nothing you wouldn’t expect. With a youngin with you you’ll be fine. Much more calm then football games because not everyone is drunk.
