Rohach starting?

Sam Richardson never returned kicks...:jimlad:

Rarely do you see a team put their #1 WR at kick returner. Bundrage back there was a little baffling when you have guys that aaccelerate and juke like Jarvis and Wimberly.

Jevohn looked bad early on, lucky we have Luke Knott.

If SR is unhealthy or having another bad day like in Lubbock then I say give GR some game experience.

I think what the earlier poster was trying to say about Miller starting the season was how can the coaching staff not know during practices that Luke Knott was this much better than Miller?

Because there is a night and day difference between the two. Or do the coaches really give the upperclassmen that much of an advantage over more talented inexperienced guys?

I would believe Creekmur's QB days are over. He would better serve the team as a WR at this point. With Rohach and Lanning waiting in the wings, it would be tough for him to break through the two deeps.

So we should move our 3rd string QB to WR where he would be 4th string?

No. We should just stop bringing up anyone that is never going to see the field for ISU. Why bother?

Creekmur could be 3rd string QB, 4th string WR, 4th string TE, 8th string RB, or 8th string DE if he wanted to. What does it matter? The point is... he isn't going to play anywhere, so what's the point?

Oh, that makes sense. So what you're saying is he may as well just not show up.

We need a 3rd string QB for worst case scenarios, and who wants to burn Lannings redshirt on what is essentially a throw away season now anyways. If he's not going to contribute anywhere else, why not have Creekmur be 3rd string QB if both Richardson and Rohach go down.

hmmm..beat Tulsa and Kansas---Sam has---two big powerhouses. Keep throwing the little dink pass's to try and make the personal statistics look good--while the team suffers.

All I'm saying is that there is no real reason to argue about where Creekmur should play. If Richardson and Rohach both got hurt, we might have to play Creekmur ONLY because we wouldn't want to burn Lanning or Hodge's RS, but that would likely be the only reason.

If Lanning and Hodge were both RS Freshmen instead of true freshmen, then Creekmur might actually be our 5th string QB right now.

If Creekmur has to play for us at QB, we're in some deep trouble. And I'm not knocking Creekmur at all. He, along with about 30 other guys, probably will never see a down for ISU, but they are still a thousand times better athletes than I ever was or ever will dream to be. Just being on a BCS school's roster is one heck of an accomplishment.

But there is no doubt that right now, Creekmur needs to stay at QB, because if something would happen to both Richardson and Rohach, he might actually have to play. Although at this point, I'm not sure if we wouldn't just be better off having one of our RB's play QB and just run the read option on every play.

It's just a game. Who cares who plays?

So Sam is ignoring the calls being made to make his personal stats look better?

Are you 10 years old? Really? Should we start trading mom jokes too? Grow up.

I stand by my stance 100% that football is still just a game. It is. Who cares? There are people dying of cancer everyday. There are young men and women dying in combat as we speak around the globe. Football is completely insignificant folks. And I will stand by that statement as long as I live. If you have a problem with that, then I guess it's you that needs to re-examine things in your life, not me.

Football is entertainment. I love Iowa State University because I went to school and graduated from there. And I love to follow sports. So yes, I'm an Iowa State athletic fan. But it sure isn't the most important thing in life. It probably wouldn't crack my top 50 things in life. But I do enjoy following them and supporting them. And I do care how they perform, as we all do, but my life goes on whether ISU wins or loses. It just isn't that important in the scheme of things. Sorry if that offends you. So go ahead and mock me about my priorities if it makes you feel better.

Don't be a little ***** when you post something idiotic an then get called out for it.

Another thread that devolved into clone dude saying stupid stuff, getting called on it, then throwing a temper tantrum. Sigh.

No. Pity towards the foolish.

I am now picturing a more sophisticated Mr. T saying "I have pity towards the foolish." It's just the way my brain works.
