Looks like we made his top 3. Its us number 1. Miami number two and Wisconsin number 3. He would be a major pick up for mcdermott. Mcdermott would finally have a good guard to work with. And for those of u who haven't heard of him he's a 6"5 4* guard in the class of 2009

Point guard? Did someone say point guard? That is the one position needed for tournaments. We need a point guard.
 
We've been in on him but I don't think we're currently his numero uno. At one time we were number one from what I've heard but I think we may just be in the top 4 now since the interest for him has skyrocketed.
 
yeah but rivals has him down to 3, isu wisconsin miami, he should come to iowa state wisconsin already has guards and were gonna be better than miami anyway
 
I think their list is probably a little older than what I've heard but when it comes to recruiting, only time will tell. I could be wrong but I don't think as of this past weekend we were in his top spot.

The article is dated 02/12/2008....so the final 3 must be current..??...any way, it would be huge to pick Rodney up.
 
From what I have gathered he is really high on ISU. He would be a huge get, but since I'm an Iowa State fan, I'm going to have to be pessimistic and say we won't get him. I really hope we do get him, but I am tired of being disapointed.
 
We are very good at being #1 on high end recruit's lists about 2 years before they actually sign.

Unfortunately, we aren't as good being there when it is time to sign.
 
It just shows how good of a talent evaluator Mcd is. He gets to them before a lot of the big schools.
 
it may have us in his top 3 per the list of schools but trust me when I say we are not in his top 3. Minn, Wisc, and Miami are his top 3. We are in his top 5 however
 
Being from the Twin Cities....I know that the local papers and radio shows talk about how good royce white is and how Tubby wants to sign the kid very badly...so if we could get Rodney williams...maybe that could swing royce white to play here too!
