@CyLyte2 is a Hok fan.
Who's to say? Really it doesn't matter, he'll be judged by what he says by each post. He did come from nowhere and made a lot of stupid posts, so you could be right. He denied I think.
Makes you wonder though if true. Got nothing better to do?
In one word, Yes. The whole point of posting your thoughts and opinions on this site is either to get positive affirmation. To open dialogue for differences of opinions and/or offer different viewpoints. Or to drum up a negative response from other poster. Which the latter makes you a troll. If you didn’t care what people thought. You would just come on here and read.
Yes I think so. A crotchety and touchy troll. You must, cause you took the time to post this at 12:51.... a.m.
When things were perfectly set for Prohm whether that be by what he walked into, or what he built that one year in 2018-2019, he was fine. But in the 3 years he didn’t have immense talent, he was pretty bad..We hung with Baylor and WV twice, among others. I don’t think you can say we were overlooked in all 4 of those games. Yes, we got blown out in other games. I’m just not going to blame everything on Prohm. I don’t think he’s a “bad coach” or whatever you’re intimating about him. I think it’s important to remember this was a team expecting to have Hinson and Foster. Would that have made us world beaters, no. But I think we’d have looked a hell of a lot different. There are too many players who made great strides under Prohm and are making nice money to simply write him off as a bad coach, especially guards and a few wings. Assuming the right guys return, I don’t think our talent is all that bad.
You sure about that?Kids don't care about the college game that much. And they definitely don't know the home court of a team that has three Sweet 16s in 30 years. Do you read/listen to their interviews?
He needed an nba level PG for his system to work. No argument there. When things were perfectly set for Prohm whether that be by what he walked into, or what he built that one year in 2018-2019, he was fine. But in the 3 years he didn’t have immense talent, he was pretty bad..
I’m older than 11. I know you can’t understand advanced concepts.Yes I think so. A crotchety and touchy troll.
Crotchety, contrary, and touchy still stand. Confusing might be in there also. Some, many of your posts are quite good and I actually agree with.I’m older than 11. I know you can’t understand advanced concepts.
You just don’t understand someone who gives no shites what others think of him, especially on an anonymous message board.Crotchety, contrary, and touchy still stand. Confusing might be in there also. Some, many of your posts are quite good and I actually agree with.
Others just scream troll and I wonder why you are even here?
I guess I'll leave it at that, for now. The word I used earlier about you, "judging", might not have been the best. But when I read some of your posts, I often have strong negative reaction. On other hand, agree with many and think Yes you must be a Cyclone.
Which are you, Jekyll or Hyde?
We needed a stretch 4 who can hit 3’s and post depth. While not flashy, the 2 transfers do meet those needs. I’m reserving judgment on the staffs’ recruiting chops based on who they get for the biggest roster needs: scoring wing/rangy 2 guard and crunch time bucket getterI'm already beginning to question recruiting with the new staff.
Probably not as much as we did or do. They might recognize some players. Most of them aren't like us. They don't spend their time obsessing over college sports. If they do obsess over the game, it's the NBA. When was the last time you read a player interview and they mentioned anything but their relationship with the coaching staff or whatever the staff is selling them? Nobody is saying, "And I know they have Hilton Magic. I'd really like to play in that building."
Iowa State is just another P6 program. That's the truth.
Oh, so you don't want to define "bad coach"?
Do you need a link? You’re a big ISU fan, I can tell. Get your **** straight and I’ll be more than happy to engage you. Here’s a hint- it has to deal with your post I initially responded to.
Having quite a few guys in the NBA including a budding star in Tyrese be so willing to talk up Ames and Iowa State can't hurt. Especially with guys like Georges and Matt so publicly endorsing TJ can only help selling Iowa State as a place to come play.Possibly not, but we have had plenty of players who are recognizable who talk us up constantly, and when they do, they talk about the fan support. That matters, even if it's a small part of the decision making process.
Really? That’s news to me.
Oh, he wants to argue 9 vs 10th. Let me rearrange these deck chairs here quick.....Technically, you're right in that we finished last in the Big XII in only 2 of the last 4 seasons. But, in one of them we were second to last. So, I think the point is still relevant.
You just don’t understand someone who gives no shites what others think of him, especially on an anonymous message board.
Everyone bitched they wanted guys that want to rebound and guys that can shoot. But the TJ brings in 2 guys that want to rebound, and 1 of those guys can shoot the ball people ***** about the 2 players brought in lol.I have been outspoken in my frustrations since the TJ hire. I am not in denial of where the program is. 2-22, last place in the Big 12, bottom third in the Big 12 in 3/4 years...yadda yadda yadda. The hiring process was irritating but it's over and done. I have moved on to not buying into the bs being thrown out there that TJ is bringing in culture guys. Culture guys are fine and good, but are they good basketball players too, or just culture guys? I don't expect TJ and his staff to go out there and sign 3 of the top 4 available prospects, I just don't want him to settle for guys in the 400-500 range either. Our entire returning roster is already full of players like that. TJ has essentially tossed out Prohm's low performing players and brought in his own, which is what happens in a coaching change I suppose.
Oh, he wants to argue 9 vs 10th. Let me rearrange these deck chairs here quick.....
Arguing that 9th somehow invalidates the point is silly.Stating facts is not arguing. You made an error in your statement which I corrected. However, I also said I agree with your point. You're looking to argue something that doesn't exist.
