My buddy Paul died last night. He plays base for Slipknot. R.I.P buddy. I will miss the old times.

What's up with that, he's got to be a young dude. More details. Sorry for your loss of a friend.

Re: RIP Paul Grey

The guy was an awesome bassist. Very well respected for his ability in the music industry. Big loss, he was way too young. Just couldn't shake the drugs.

Re: RIP Paul Grey

I feel a noise violation coming on tonight.... it's gonna be loud!

RIP Paul :(

To maggots everywhere: turn it up and let the man hear his finest work!

Re: RIP Paul Grey

Very sad. Many great bands have gone through this unfortunately. RIP Paul Grey.

Re: RIP Paul Grey

From wikipedia:

"He and his wife were expecting their first child at the time of his death."

Got to admit I was not a huge fan but you never like hearing about deaths like this.

On a side note, I did fire up the youtube video someone posted above. How many guys are in the band. They are like Wu-Tang for metal! Is it that many people or do the guys just have 2 oe 3 different masks they put on.

Anytime you lose someone it's a very tragic loss, I'm in the radio business and this is a huge huge loss. Especially since Slipknot is such a popular band worldwide and they are based out of Des Moines. Sad, sad day.

Slipknot is probably my second favorite band, right behind Avenged Sevenfold. With both bands having lost a talented member recently, it truly is sad. RIP Paul.

Nine members in the band.
