Doesn't surprise me a bit. CPR knows next year is make or break, he knows a lot of the problems on defense are due to talent rather than coaching, and he knows starting with a new DC won't go well. He's doing what he needs to do, IMO.

Thats a more neutral statement that leaves open the possibility for change.
