Agree with what others have said. I was on the fire Paul bandwagon 4-5 weeks ago out of frustration. Since then I'm more sad than mad. The fan base is unhappy and at this point I don't honestly know what would make people happy. No matter what happens we're fighting an uphill battle. You can't honestly tell me that the staff and players really think anything will change next year, how could you?
People around here keep saying no one would me coach at ISU, that's simply not true. It may not be a big name guy but there are plenty of good coaches out there. As a coach myself albeit on a much different level I can tell you that we want a challenge. It makes coaches better and you tend to care more than when things are easy.

No head coach should survive that. But I this is Iowa State, we blame assistants here and not the person that hired them. The guy that refuses to take accountability for any of this is CPR. He'll throw anyone under the bus to save his own *** and its obvious!
If they ever scrimmage and Keep Score.......I'm putting my money on UNI and Mark Farley...lol

Maybe we shouldn't stop at JP and Rhoads for this season. We should Fire everyone! Communications director? Fired. Ticket sales lady? She gone. President Leath? Buh Bye. Firing everyone is definitely the solution!!

If people really want Rhoads fired after this year, fine. But be prepared to be underwhelmed by his replacement. Kansas just hired Texas A&M's WR coach.
Since when has he thrown someone under the bus? And if you don't think he doesn't take accountability for anything your completely wrong. Go back and read the article about Pollard backing him. Assistants need to be held accountable. Even though the defense was extremely young and inexperienced, Wally and the assistant defensive coaches are responsible to get them ready to play.
It would be the "honorable" thing to do. Maybe once he does that we can have some victory.

He won't. This troll is a negative sissy ripping on ISU all day, every day. There are some here that live for it. Excitement over having a team to complain about.

Quit acting like nobody can do better than this. We won 2 games! You do realize we likely could of hired Harbaugh, Brian Kelly, and did hire Gene Chizik(regardless of your personal opinion of him) right? Yes I think we can do better than hiring a former DC who was run out of his two previous positions!

I hear you and can't fully defend it. I wouldn't be mad if Wally was let go. I do still think he can coach.
Bad defense, very bad. Fact. I also know the severity of prrformance and horrid stats are skewed by our sissy offense. Teams get SO many more possessions and plays against us because of it.
I'm not saying no one could do better. I'm saying people like you scream to fire the coach and then you'll be first to ***** about the guy we hire. And then in 2 years you will be screaming to fire him.
