Is it to early to give Rhoads a contract extension? In the past three years he has beat Nebraska in Lincoln, Texas in Austin and now Iowa. He has re-energized the ISU fan base and it seems he truely wants to remain in Ames.

So, lets lock him up for the long term and maintain some consistency!!!!!

It is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL that we get the fan support in the form of NCC donations and ticket sales to keep paying this guy. The worst thing we could do now as a fan base is get cheap and have Paul move on in a few years because of salary, either for him or his assistants.

Deserves it no doubt. But until we know what conference we will be in can we make a large financial commitment? He probably wants to see where we land before signing as well

Give him an extension, give him a raise, and give his assitants a raise. If we want to keep building, we need continuity in the coaching staff. Keeping his coaching staff around is just as important as anything.

Let's find out what conference we're going to be in first. Then give him an extension.

Does anyone have a link to a video of CPR's on field interview after the game? Thanks!

i'd like to see this as well... i'm pretty sure i watched it but apparently not since i have no recollection of knox asking about rhoad's mom

If the conference is stable and we have a good season, give CPR and coaches a raise.

X2 You got that right brother. In Rhoads we trust. Best coach in college football!

In my heart I want to see Rhoads locked up for a long time.

In my head I would like to see him put together more than just a 7-win season, even though he's had a lot of program-changing wins. If he somehow puts together an 8-win season this year (especially since we play the second hardest schedule in the nation), lock him up indefinitely.
