Rhoads chewing at the refs

dirty mouth?

I think it was a few minutes after RGIII's fumble was overturned. Baylor had scored and kicked off and our offense was just going out on the field. It wasn't right after a bad call or thing -- I was really confused what was going on at first because you could just hear the yelling.

i didnt take the time to read this whole thread, but it was right after the kick off from that horse **** call... they deserved it and he was far more tame than i would have been. we did not lose because of the refs, but they more than changed the outcome of this game in terms of momemteum, scoring, etc....

This is really getting out of hand... the refs are the 12th man for the state of Texas it seems...

REFS ARE FOR TEXAS IT SEEMS....

Well boys when you play in the Texas Conference what do ya expect?

Those officials are going to protect their own, if you want to know why Nebraska fled to the big 10 just replay the game and look at the majority of calls that go for baylor...

Is it any wonder that mizzou is leaving at the first possible opportunity?

ISU may make a little bit more money but if your into winning and going to bowl games you can forgetaboutit....

On the bright side, the Big 12 isn't too happy with Missouri and Texas A&M right now so maybe we get the calls to go our way the next two weeks.

I say we bookmark this one for a "famous last words" thread.

At the end of the season, I'm thinking about taking the video of all these games and piecing together a collage of the horrible officiating calls and non-calls just to see how bad it truly has been all season long. It could be a pretty long collage at this rate.

I don't see any comments about one that sums things up perfectly.

4th and 2 Baylor, inside the five.
Lattimer jumps offside for our contributation to disaster. The refs calls PI on Reeves on a ball thrown 10 yards out of bounds, for insurance.

I can see the officials helping out Tx, that is where the money is coming from, and Baylor in Waco, home crowd, etc, but how about UConn, which was just as bad as TX and Baylor, maybe worse. What really makes me made is that ISU seems to loose every review, no matter how obivious the video shows that the call ended up wrong.

People that think everyone here is blaming the refs for the loss just don't get it. The refs didn't beat us and I think everyone here is acknowledging that Baylor was the better team and likely would have beat us with everything equal, but the fact is things weren't equal. Refs are momentum killers and when they + the replay booth fudge up calls, it makes things look awful curious. Why have a replay booth if they can't get the obvious right or don't know the rules themselves (tuck rule). The refs put themselves in plays they didn't need to be in. With the way we moved the ball at times last night, Baylor's extra fumble that should have been ours, and the onside kick that was legally ours, I think and will continue to think we had a shot to win that game. But the refs blew those 2 very big calls (as well as others) and they were momentum killers. There is just no getting around that. I would pitch some money to help Rhoads pay for his fine if he wanted to let it out there what he really thinks of the refs. I'd love him to make an example out of that crew at a presser.

I'd love to shove a microphone in the face of the league of officiating and ask them to comment. I will show millions upon millions of kick-offs, and on-side kicks, where EVERY kicker slightly goes beyond the ball when they kick. Not to mention those who officiated the game tonight. I will show them video of all the Kick-offs & on-side kicks that they officiated against where the exact same thing occured, and ask them, "why they never called it in that instance?"

But the tucked ball was a laugher... I can't think of anything else except those ref's were probably worried about what the crowd would do to them if they were honest and made the correct call.

I was watching the game in a bar with a couple Iowa fans, & Michigan fans. They even admitted in all their years of watching football never seeing an offsides on the kicker. I've been watching football most of my life & have never seen it also. That was the point of the game I lost my cool.

Didn't watch the game because i was working, how is that even possible?!

His plant foot crossed the 30 yard line in front of the ball, before he kicked the ball. Happens all of the time, have never seen it called like this.

Because it can't be called:
