If Tom Brands were our coach, Mahoney (and DD) would be walking home tonight.
Actually, I wish Tom Brands were our coach tonight. A ref or two might've gotten injured.
I'd love to shove a microphone in the face of the league of officiating and ask them to comment. I will show millions upon millions of kick-offs, and on-side kicks, where EVERY kicker slightly goes beyond the ball when they kick. Not to mention those who officiated the game tonight. I will show them video of all the Kick-offs & on-side kicks that they officiated against where the exact same thing occured, and ask them, "why they never called it in that instance?"
But the tucked ball was a laugher... I can't think of anything else except those ref's were probably worried about what the crowd would do to them if they were honest and made the correct call.

Said "not commenting on anything regarding officiating"... safe to say he's hot, and thinks we were jobbed on a couple ocassions.
...and if you really want to get critical on the "tucked-pass" call. Who was the QB throwing the ball to if his arm was going forward??? He wasn't out of the pocket either... so where was the intentional grounding call???

To make matters worse, this is the second time in Mahoney's career missing two extra point kicks.

I just watched the post game interview with CPR. Good thing that he's a classy guy with a great temperment. I would have been calling for the heads of those officials! Maybe he is behind the scenes!
I have no doubt in my mind that there is some F bombs flying in the middle of a huddle.
3 Badly blown calls, and a bad turnover. Those are really the only reasons this game was a mess. We didn't play great, but we cleaned up a lot of other mistakes, and the game was much closer than the final score indicated. Mostly because of one mistake by Jantz leading to a TD, and a really badly blown fumble call by the refs. Those were the two things that caused this game to get bad.
The phantom PI and phantom offsides on the kick were just icing on the cake to **** all over ISU.
They played hard as hell all the way until the end even though it wasn't a game anymore, and that's a damn shame. Put us on an even playing field and Baylor still probably wins(imo), but it would have been a game down to the last possession imo. Clean up Jantz's turnover and we have a really good shot at winning.
That's what people are ****** about.
Watched Rhoads' comments. Man he is ******! I can't imagine that he isn't going to take up the crazy ref calls three weeks in a row with the B12.
Refs sucked, but what do you expect for the ISU vs Baylor game @Baylor. Refs didn't cost us that game, though they may have made the score worse. Too much rushing yardage for Baylor. The one real turnover we have goes for a TD and the ones we get from them go for 0. Lots of 3 and out. Plenty of things to fix...
