Altoona Auto Body. Small, family owned. Really care about their customers and the work they do. I have used them a couple of times and highly recommend them.
I've used Jacobsen auto body in west des Moines on fuller road with great success. I'm very very picky and I was happy with the results.

Awesome people and they don't charge for estimates. I have used them twice, and been very pleased with the work. First time I used them, came in $300 lower than the other estimate, second time, they totally gave me a deal on the work I needed done. Also, don't need to make an appointment for an estimate, just drive in and they'll give you an estimate.

I went to Graham in Urbandale. It was an insurance claim, so no info about the costs, but they did good work.
Bump the thread for another good endorsement. Had some State Farm insurance work done there. They got us in quickly, finished on time and the vehicle looked great.
