Doing some exterior projects soon and was thinking about renting out a dumpster. This would be in the Des Moines area. Anyone have any recommendations for who to rent it from? Looking to rent it for about a week.

Depending on the amount of waste, this is something I have used in the past. They have them at several home improvement stores. There is a haul away fee in addition to the cost of the Bagster.
ABC Metals and Recycling have been good to me. I've used them multiple times flipping houses.
Just hauled 3 pickup truck loads of junk to Ankeny's free cleanup day. The city workers unload everything for you - don't even have to get out of the truck.

Can probably rent one from whoever normally picks up your garbage too.
When roofing a house, do NOT toss the end of a swisher sweet into the dumpster full of old shingles.

Get a hold of whoever does your trash pickup at your house. They may have some options for you.
My summer job at ISU was at their dynamite division. OSHA would have had a field day.
There should be some good deals on used dumpsters after we beat the Hoks in September.
Saturday and Sunday. I think it’s just once per year in the spring.
Ask them for a list of things you can’t put in the roll off, if they don’t give you one. Not putting something in there is better then having to take it out or paying extra.
