Release: SCHEMATIC DESIGNS FOR SOUTH END ZONE PROJECT RELEASED

Yay 5" conduit!
Personally I think I would have gone with at least 6".

Seriously, though there is a lot of good information there in the details. I find it a little unusual that Pollard is financing the bonds for 25 yrs at a projected 4.2% rate. I guess that is about the rate that they expect ticket sales to be able to cover the debt service. Also shows them projecting Big XII revenues from 23.5 mil in 2014 to 38.3 mil in 2022. They are also projecting a big increase in salaries from $20mil to $31mil in 2022. I also wonder if our Tier 3 rights (Cyclones.TV) are included in the other revenue. Doesn't appear to be projecting any increase in that revenue.

Well, the existing utility demo plans for the SEZ have been posted. Nothing interesting in there unless you are a utility contractor though. One or two sheet show the the ground level footprint of the new stands but that's about all. Still, nice to see some progress

Anybody know what work will be underway during this season? For instance, will they have torn into the south hillsides? Or affected the south entrance?

I hope they build those upper deck additions strong enough to withstand large gusts of wind. They look susceptible.

May want to forward your thoughts to the company doing the actual building, I'm sure they haven't thought of that.

I've been looking through the first bid (expected completion date of August, 2014) and I notice that the first 25 rows of seats are in this "Phase 1" (there are 4 phases to this project) of the project. Will the first 25 rows of seats be complete for the first game this year or did they just add those to these phase plans for no reason?

Page 6 specifically:

They are just in as a reference underlay for that package. It's common to do that. First phase is purely utility relocations.
