It looked like targeting to me. At least, a really vicious hit.Another targeting coming up

Possibly. I think he hit him in the chest, but it was still stupid of him to lead with his helmet.
Ruled incomplete, no targeting. Still don't understand why you lead with your helmet when 2 of your teammates have already been booted.
Only if they care about safety.Lock just smacked his head on the ground hard. Should have been taken out for concussion check.
You act like when someone is running as fast as they can, trying to time up a hit that you can just make your body change direction and avoid that type out hit. It doesn't work that way, especially when you factor in the ball carrier/receiver changing their body position.
Concur. The rules says it has to be "forceable" contact to the head or neck area. Contact to the head or neck is an objective term. However, the word "forceable" is subjective. They need to get all the officials together and show them videos of what is forceable and what is not.I don't have a problem with getting rid of "leading with the helmet", especially when the player launches and goes for the other player's head.
My issue is with "helmet to helmet contact" which often times simply cannot be avoided, and is much less violent than shoulder to helmet contact.
