I think I got this targeting thing figured out. If the defender's helmet make any contact with they offensive player's helmet, it's targeting.

But the offensive player while running with the ball can lower their head, and that's not dangerous at all I guess?

I don't have a problem with getting rid of "leading with the helmet", especially when the player launches and goes for the other player's head.
My issue is with "helmet to helmet contact" which often times simply cannot be avoided, and is much less violent than shoulder to helmet contact.
Gundy is an idiot. They cannot stop Hubbard, so why get cute and over think things and throw the ball?
Like I said, I'm rooting for the Big 12 in the bowls, but when Gundy is this stupid, he deserves to lose.
