Recruits & Transfers

Are you guys seriously wanting that arrogant ass hole in Ames?
If a national champion wants to come wrestle at Iowa State, sign me up. Like I said, I have heard that he is actually a pretty decent kid, a lot of what he does is just an act to build his "brand" for post college. Not to mention he is still a really young kid that has time to mature as he gets older

Hmmmm

Maybe I’ll try to come around to it. I just don’t think you need an ego that big ******* up your whole room but I could be wrong.

His brothers dont seem too bad, that would be icing on the cake if AJ could keep out of trouble in Ames

Begs the question: why would he leave Okla State? I don't know, but it looks like someone who might carry some baggage.

I don’t like Ferrari, but sign me up any day for him coming to ISU. Don’t like his wrestling style or personality. Damn sure I’d be rooting for him at NCAAs in a Cyclone singlet.

We are trying to win here and you take your chances at getting a national champ. To compare him to Downey or Echemendia is silly imo.

That's a pretty big leap to make.

And the excitement in the program doesn't have to be from a wrestler, there's lots of stuff being announced in the short term for the good of the program.

Wait and see when it's announced and I'll come back to let you know that is what I was alluding to. @buf87 or @stuclone do you have anything to add to this?

Seems to be a lot of momentum building for the program. Future is very bright

Lots of moving parts that don't necessarily reflect poorly on AJ no matter what it may seem from the outside.

I am not sold on it. KD needs to have a tight reign on the Ferrari fam. He has more control of his program than KJ did
