My kid is a basketball player. If he's ever a big time recruit I'm going to have him punk the whole process. There will be an ISU hat, a Burger King crown, a KU hat, a red beret, a Luther College hat, a Grandview hat, and a Duke hat. He's going to try them all on twice then start chucking hats off the table starting with the KU and Duke hats. Then by process of elimination put the ISU hat on backwards and take a bow. Sadly, that routine will be less ridiculous than some of these "pick a hat" signings.

Nice....add a tiara and maybe a wrestling headgear to round out the variety.

Just be sure, weeks before, your son posts to his social media a photo of the spread so all of the respective schools can then speculate on their boards what it means.

I told my kid he's doing his announcement at a Lids store. It will be a 3 hour eleventeen minute production of hat try-ons.
