RECRUITING: Some Xavier Simpson info

Could mean a few things, depending on how you look at it. Maybe they loved Illinois and are going to commit there. Maybe they took the Illinois visit to compare with ISU and like ISU more. Hopefully the latter but I don't think this is encouraging.

I get the feeling his dad says that about every place they visit. We probably shouldn't put much into this, but we probably put too muh stock into it when he said it about us.
He has spoken highly about several schools now that I think about it so I guess I shouldn't really put too much stock into what he says especially coming off a visit. His recruitment seems pretty unpredictable to me though so who knows.
Didn't his dad say they wanted to take another visit after ISU specifically to compare another school to ISU to see if we were as good as we seemed on his visit? Well now they have their comparison visit. So to me it doesn't seem that surprising or that negative that he is going to make his decision soon
Little more on Simpson. Sounds like "Talk things over at home" could mean comparing visits so like said above it might not be as bad as it sounds.

Hopefully we stood out and this visit confirmed ISU is the best place for X
if the talk is in the living room it's bad for ISU. if the talk is in the kitchen, which is more informal and relaxing, it's better for isu. am i doing this right?
I don't know what is up with jerry or his people lately. They still have Purdue on his crystal ball and added Illinois while not dropping off Purdue and taking their 9% from them to use for Illinois. So lately I am not putting too much stock in him. Scouts.com is better!

Edit: Let me expand upon my reply to help you understand it. The crystal ball just tallies the votes for each school and then represents them as a percentage of the total number of predictions. Each person who chooses to contribute gets one vote, though they can change their vote at any time. Simpson has 11 total predictions from 11 different people. One person predicts Purdue, hence the 9% (they made that prediction back in July). Jerry had initially predicted Iowa State, but has now changed to Illinois. It's obviously a guessing game early on, but I think Meyer does pretty well when he changes votes late in the game. A negative sign unfortunately (though he isn't infallible).

Kind of worried that Meyer flipped his pick but also waiting to find out the reason why before getting too concerned. Like was it actual Intel from the simpson camp or did he just read some tweets?
If he goes somewhere else it'll suck. With that said, we are in on several other point guards so it's not something I'm gonna really dwell on for more than two minutes if he ends up committing to the Illini.
