RECRUITING INSIDER: Gunnerson intel

So does it all come down to CMC not committing to be at ISU long term? If so the days of good recruiting is over if all a school has to do is point out CMC won't be here long term. I appreciate the honesty by CMC but it has a chance to be his undoing.

Campbell is telling recruits he's going to be here long term if he's asked by them

I like mustard on brats and hot dogs but can live with just ketchup on a hot dog but a more flavorful sausage seems like mustard is a necessity and ketchup is unnecessary.

Some type of condiment sauce is necessary on a burger but mustard is not a necessity. I prefer that the condiment on a burger is not ketchup but ketchup is acceptable as long as there are other toppings.

Stone ground mustard is absolutely fantastic with Bavarian pretzels or even with those cheap pretzel rods.
If you eat a brat and there is ketchup on it, we can no longer be friends. So please, all who put ketchup on their brat, respond to this post so I can promptly block you. tia

Yeah I don't think CMC is telling recruits he's not staying here long term.. He's also said numerously he's here to stay, thinks Iowa State is a very special place, and wants to build this program to a championship level. I don't know why losing one kid on the recruiting trail means he's leaving?

The good days were a week ago....do you not remember the day last week when we signed like 4 guys?

Some of you guys need help, CMC missing on a 3* kid who played 2A ball isn't the end of the world.

I certainly am not second guessing CMC's recruiting - just seems like a few weeks ago he was high on our list and a need and grew up a Clone and now we are saying 3* 2A kid nothing to see here. I'm just trying to understand.

Good for him. I don't really care. It would be nice to keep the upper end Iowa guys around, but if we don't, we don't. The rest of our recruiting is much more important.

I really hope he's not going there because they allow him to play LB.

It doesn't , but in this kids mind the risk of him leaving no matter how remote along with probably a chance play early on, on what is now a very bad defense certainly played into his decision.

The Nebraska basketball coach said ISU was a special place, both before he left and even after taking the Nebraska job.

Campbell could be at ISU for 2 or 22 years, neither would surprise.

You want to have a coach who is in demand, and you can only hope the lure of where he is at is stronger than that of where he can go.

Kraut and maybe mustard. Ketchupers should be shot :) Oh, and recently, I had one with plum jam. Wow! It was good!

It's easy to understand. He would be a much better player if he was coming to ISU. Don't you understand recruiting? :)

With Nebraska's recent history (and ridiculous expectations), there's a greater likelihood they'd be changing coaches than ISU. Since every hire there in the past 20 years has been ordained by God.
